About Sky’s The Limit
Sky’s The Limit Therapeutic Services is a Métis-owned practice in Winnipeg. We provide therapy for individuals, couples and families across Manitoba: in our office, over video, or out in your community. Wherever you’re starting from, we meet you there.
Who We Are
Care here starts from what’s already working in your life and builds on it. We call it wrap-around support: therapy at the centre, with practical help around it, so individuals and families aren’t left to hold everything alone.
Our team includes Indigenous and non-Indigenous staff, and that mix is deliberate. It lets us offer therapy grounded in respect for Indigenous cultures, traditions and values, and it means every client can find someone they feel understood by.
Meet the Founder
Nicole Duhamel, MHT, BSW, MSW, RSW
Founder & Therapist
Nicole was born and raised in Winnipeg’s North End and always planned on a life spent helping people. She is a woman of Métis, French and German ancestry. In 2005, the late Garry Raven of Hollow Water First Nation gifted her the spirit name Waabiski Mashkode-bizhiki Ike, White Buffalo Woman, a name that carries the Buffalo’s teachings of selflessness, strength and respect.
She knows healing from the inside. Family dysfunction, addictions, and the weight colonization puts on cultural identity are part of her own story, not just her training. The training is real too: 15 years in Child and Family Services, seven years running this practice, a Bachelor of Social Work (2006) and a Master of Social Work (2024).

Beyond Our Winnipeg Clinic
Sky’s The Limit works with communities, organizations and service providers to make culturally responsive mental health services more accessible throughout Manitoba.
Our work has brought us to communities including Berens River, Norway House, Gods Lake Narrows, Little Grand Rapids, Pauingassi, Fisher River, Cross Lake, Shamattawa, Steinbach, Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
